The BEST Community Garden on E. 5th (north side, between Parade and German) will soon be opening its 2026 Growing Season. Hosted by Erie Insurance and guided by the Master Gardeners of Penn State, the Community Garden is a space where neighbors are able to grow their own produce for their families by reserving and tending to a garden box or tilled plot.
Featuring more than 80 raised garden beds and tilled areas, a pavilion, and a pollinator garden, the BEST Community Garden is the only registered USDA People's Garden within a 40-mile radius.
